My Two Girls

Kemah and Anais. I'm not sure I've been home without at least one of them around. Usually they will find me reading a book, or tic tac-ing on my laptop and ask "Whatcha doin?" which becomes becomes a negotiation about when we'll play.

Yesterday, Sunday, we went to the 10.30 service at Providence Baptist, then home for lunch. Then I worked for a few hours in the Palavah Hut - the orange thing in our yard next to Kemah - until my laptop battery ran out (generator goes on at 7pm). Then I took Kemah and Anais on a promised walk to the beach. Just like last Sunday.

At the beach, Anais squeals a lot, and gets herself and me (who holds her hand with an iron grip) rather soaked.

Kemah leads the way further down the beach, watching the waves and the horizon. At 13, she is so grownup and such a little girl.
She has no idea she's so beautiful.
